With warm wishes to everyone who has supported us through a wonderful 2018. Here’s to our adventures in 2019!

If you’re interested in your child exploring the woods and joining us on our wonderful daily adventures, please get in touch using any of the methods on our Contact Us page. We only have a couple of places left for January 2019!
Please note: we operate on a first come, first served policy i.e. places are allocated according to the date of enrolment form receipt (there is no enrolment fee to pay at this stage). It’s never too early to pop your child’s name down!
How time flies when you’re having fun! A huge note of thanks to everyone who has supported us over the past seven years, we couldn’t have done it without you. We really appreciate all of the positive comments we receive. Thank you.
Make the most of your FFE – send your child to the first outdoor nursery in the North West of England!
We offer the FFE (Free Flexible Entitlement) government scheme which entitles all three and four year old children up to 15 hours of childcare per week, during term-time. At Beyond the Walls this means your child can attend for one full day and you would only pay £5.23 (our Woodland Resource Fund) for the day/week. If you would like your child to attend for two full days, you would pay £25.10 per week, as the remainder is made up by FFE.
We think this is incredible value for money for the highest quality childcare and a fantastic, unique pre-school experience!

At present, we do not offer the 30 hour entitlement.
‘The Old School’ on Chapels Lane, Tockholes is our base camp. This lovely old building is set in a peaceful part of the village and suits our establishment’s needs perfectly. We meet here for an hour each morning and end our adventurous day back in this special place. Here we can watch the seasons change, have the chance to plant things to grow with the children, and what a wonderful place to listen to the birds too!
